Practically growing up on the stage, Crisel has lived for the curtain call. In recent years, another calling has tugged at her values. As a creative arts educator, she now finds joy in using the arts to empower strong families and creative communities.
You may call me many different things—an actress, an educator, an entrepreneur. But you know who I also am? A migrant. I am a proud Filipina who finds herself, just like her character, in an adoptive home, in Hong Kong. I am privileged because I have been accepted and allowed to thrive, and by doing so, empower people whose voices have not been heard.
